Tacoma police: 81-year-old man arrested after woman killed in domestic dispute



TACOMA -- Police arrested an 81-year-old man after a woman was killed in an apparent domestic dispute.

Officers were called around 7:30 p.m. to the 7000 block of Fawcett Avenue for a domestic dispute. They found the 49-year-old woman and medics pronounced her dead a short time later.

According to Tacoma police, there was a dispute between the man and the woman. Officers would only say that the woman suffered a "fatal injury."

Neighbors told Q13 that the man stabbed his adult daughter.

They said the suspect went to a neighbor's house for help. He was arrested and booked into Pierce County Jail on suspicion of 2nd degree murder. His name has not been released by police.

The Pierce County Medical Examiner's office identified the victim as Tamara Fabre, 49, from Texas.

Police said they were not able to release any further information at this time.
