NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Two teenagers in Tennessee climbed into a bathroom cabinet and called 9-1-1 when a man broke into their home.

WKRN reports the sisters, ages 13 and 16, were home alone when they heard someone trying to break in.

The girls checked and saw two men dressed in black, so they ran into the bathroom and hid inside a cabinet. From there, they called for help.

"They're in the house," the older sister told dispatchers. "Please hurry."

Police found one of the suspects driving through the yard just as they pulled up. The other suspect was hiding in the same room as the two sisters.

“That’s when I thought he was going to open this cabinet and that something is going to happen,” the 16-year-old told WKRN.

He tried to run away, but police quickly caught up with him.

Both suspects were arrested.

Officers found musical instruments, a computer, a shotgun and jewelry taken from the home inside the suspects' car.
