Third fatal motorcycle crash in King county this week
FEDERAL WAY -- A 42-year old Bothell man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed Saturday morning on Interstate 5 in Federal Way.
The Washington State Patrol reported that William Bissell was traveling northbound on I-5 near South 320th Street just before 5:00 a.m. when he lost control and crashed.
Troopers had yet to release the official cause of the crash.
This is the third fatality accident this past week in King County involving a motorcycle or scooter.
On Thursday afternoon September 26, a motorcyclist was killed on the Alaskan Way viaduct when his motor scooter crashed and hit a guardrail near Seneca Street.
The accident closed the northbound lanes of the viaduct until 7p.m.
And on Wednesday night, a motorcyclist was killed when crashed on the viaduct, sending him over the edge and onto First Avenue South below, Seattle Police reported.
