Public tours of the White House will resume in December, offering the chance for visitors to see the People’s House decorated for the holiday season.

What we know:

The Office of First Lady Melania Trump says the public tours will resume on Tuesday, Dec. 2 with an updated tour route.  Visitors will visit the State Floor and take in the White House Christmas decorations, designed and curated under the direction of the First Lady.

The tours allow visitors to experience the annual tradition of the White House transformed into a festive reflection of the spirit, warmth, faith, and hope of the holiday season.

Schedule a White House tour:

The public can request White House tours through their Congressional Representative or U.S. Senator. Members of Congress can be reached through the United States Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121 (TTY: 202-225-1904), or online at congress.gov/members.

Congressional offices may resume submitting requests on Monday, Nov. 3. Available tour dates for December will open 30 days prior to each potential tour date. Tour dates for Jan. 2026 are slated to be made available to congressional offices sometime in December.
