Woman accused in stabbing; man wanted money back after sex

PORT ORCHARD, Wash. (AP) — The Kitsap County Sheriff's office says they have arrested a woman suspected of stabbing a man who reportedly paid her for sex, but later asked for his money back.

The sheriff's office said Monday that 21-year-old Destiny Johnson was arrest at a casino in Suquamish Friday. She was booked into jail on investigation of robbery and second-degree assault. She is to appear in court on Wednesday.

Officials called to a Port Orchard home on Aug. 22 found the 31-year-old man bleeding. He had a stab wound on his back and hand.

He told police that he arranged for a sexual "date" with the woman through the website Backpage.com. But when the transaction proved unsatisfactory for both parties, he demanded his money back and an argument escalated into a physical confrontation.

He was taken to a hospital in Tacoma.
