Woman finds new use for wedding dress... as a Christmas Tree skirt!

A South Carolina woman was tired of her old wedding dress taking up space in her basement, so she decided to do something pretty daring!

Tess Heidelberger got married in the early 1990s. She said neither of her daughters wanted the dress for their weddings, and she was too sentimental to throw it away.

So she decided to create something new -- she took scissors and a hot glue gun to the dress and created a skirt for her Christmas Tree.

"Now my tree looks like it's floating on a cloud!" Tess wrote.

Tess said the hardest part was the first cut with the scissors, but then it was freeing. Check out the photos below:
