Woman killed, man injured in North Seattle shooting
SEATTLE -- More than a dozen Seattle Police officers are on the scene of a deadly shooting that happened early Tuesday morning on Aurora Avenue N and 82nd Street.
Seattle police and firefighters responded to reports of a disturbance and shots fired around 3 a.m. Tuesday.
Seattle firefighters arrived on the scene and found a woman dead in the parking lot of the Everspring Inn.
Seattle Detective Mark Jamieson says a man drove himself to Harborview Medical Center, where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
Homicide and CSI detectives are interviewing people with information and collecting physical evidence.

One lane of southbound Aurora Ave N was closed to traffic early Tuesday morning.
According to SPD other acts of violence have happened in the area recently. Detective Jamieson says on Sunday night there was a homicide farther north on Aurora Avenue, but it's not believed to be connected to Tuesday's shooting.
