Woman shot in Lakewood apartment from parking lot
This is the sliding glass door to the apartment in Lakewood where a woman was shot Thursday night.
LAKEWOOD -- A woman was shot in the abdomen in a Lakewood apartment when her ex-boyfriend and her current boyfriend were arguing outside in the parking lot and two shots were fired, police said.
One bullet hit a vehicle in the parking lot of the Pacific Ridge Apartments and the other went through the glass sliding door of the apartment, striking the woman, witnesses said.
The ex-boyfriend fled in a vehicle, while the woman's current boyfriend called 911 to report his girlfriend had been shot.
The woman was transported to the hospital; her condition was not immediately known.
The suspected gunman was being sought by police.
No other details were immediately available.
