SEATTLE -- The Seattle Seahawks received their official Super Bowl XLVIII championship rings Thursday night in a private ceremony in downtown Seattle.
The ring is made of white gold and features a three-dimensional Seahawks logo of 64 round diamonds with an emerald eye.
The Seahawks logo is outlined in blue and framed by 12 diamonds. The Vince Lombardi Trophy stands behind the logo among a sea of 107 round diamonds.
Forty blue sapphires surround the ring top flanked by two "12" flags, according to Seahawks.com.

The ring was made by Tiffany & Co. and created after several meetings with head coach Pete Carroll, general manager John Schneider, owner Paul Allen, president Peter McLoughlin and other team executives.
“The design of the first Seahawks Super Bowl ring represents a distinctive tribute to this team, our fans, the Pacific Northwest and the Seahawks victory in Super Bowl XLVIII,” said McLoughlin.
According to Seahawks.com, the sides of the ring tell the story of the championship season.
"One shank includes the team’s final record of 16-3, a southward view of CenturyLink Field with the “12” flag and Mt. Rainier, highlighted with the individual player’s name and number. The other side features the Seattle skyline, Vince Lombardi Trophy with a marquis diamond, Super Bowl XLVIII logo and NFL shield."
The ring band has 12 feathers similar to those on the team's uniforms. Each ring is engraved with the phrases “LEAVE NO DOUBT,” “24/7,” “SEA 43- DEN 8” and “WHAT’S NEXT?”
