WSP says Pokemon-playing man rear-ended car carrying mother, young child

FALL CITY, Wash. – Please, make it Pokemon Stop!

A man admitted he was playing Pokemon Go when he rear-ended a car containing a woman and her young son Monday in Fall City, Washington State Patrol troopers said.

Nobody was injured in the crash. Troopers said it's the first Pokemon-related crash that's been reported to them.

Troopers said the man was heading eastbound on Highway 202 near 332nd St. in Fall City when he collided with the woman’s car as she was preparing to make a left turn.

The WSP urged drivers to “consider safety over their high score,” and pointed out that playing with the app is more dangerous than texting and driving.
