SEATTLE -- Krista Nelson did what many of us have perhaps only fantasized about: she quit her job and launched her own business, creating all-natural artisan cookie mixes. Barely two months later, she finds herself a finalist in Umpqua Bank's Made to Grow Grant contest!

Out of 100 or so entries from Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada and our state, Krista is one of only ten finalists vying for the $10,000 prize: a small business grant that would help her grow her business. She's the only finalist from Seattle! Voting ends June 10th; the winner will be announced the following Wednesday.
