Receiver Doug Baldwin agrees to four-year extension with Seahawks
SEATTLE – Doug Baldwin’s career season just paid off.
The Seahawks wide receiver confirmed to Q13 News on Tuesday afternoon that he has a signed a four-year contract extension with the team.
ESPN's Ed Werder reported the deal is worth $46 million, with about $24.25 million of that guaranteed.
The new deal would keep Baldwin under contract with the Seahawks through 2020. He was entering the final season of a three-year deal worth a reported $14 million.
Baldwin has spent all of his five-year career with the Seahawks after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford.
He has 3,826 receiving yards and 29 touchdowns over his career, but his biggest year was last season, when he totaled 1,069 yards and 14 TDs on 78 receptions.
