Accused child molester still on the run from Olympia; wife charged with ordering girls to keep quiet

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Accused child molester Andre Nguyen is still on the run from Olympia.

Now, his wife has been charged In Thurston County with three counts of Tampering with a Witness and Rendering Criminal Assistance In the First Degree.

Prosecutors say Tieng Nguyen ordered both young girls to tell police that nothing happened and refuse to discuss it further.

Detectives say she also would inspect one alleged victim's body approximately twice a week to “see if Andre had left any marks on her.”

Prosecutors say she sold her home, all of her vehicles and a rental house to a relative for $170,000.

Detectives believe she used the money to help Andre bail out of jail after his arrest and to continue to stay on the run.

Tieng was arrested as she prepared to fly to Vietnam to visit family. She was released on bail.  Andre took off in March. The U.S. Marshals Pacific NW Fugitive Apprehension Task Force is asking for your help locating him and Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information on his whereabouts.

Nguyen visited Portland and California in the last few months. Please share his photo with everyone you know up and down the West coast so the task force can get him into custody.

He is a computer expert who worked in IT before the accusations surfaced.

Officers say Nguyen is well-known among players in the men’s soccer league programs in Thurston County.
