'Clepto:' Help Seattle detectives identify prolific graffiti tagger
WANTED IN SEATTLE -- If you live in Seattle you've likely seen the criminal work of a prolific graffiti tagger who calls himself "Clepto." Now, detectives are giving you a look at the suspect himself -- caught on camera doing one of the many felony vandalism crimes he's wanted for that are a scourge to Seattle and cost the city and taxpayers a lot of money to cleanup. "Who knows why people call themselves what. Clepto in the old terminology means someone that steals. Maybe he's stealing your money making you have to repair it, that may be why he uses the name. To be honest with you, we don't know, but he's adopted the name "Clepto" and it's all over the city. This guy needs to be stopped,” says Ret. Det.
