'Shop and Rob' suspect: Help identify calm crook who grabbed snacks before hitting gas station at gunpoint

WANTED IN SHORELINE --
You've heard of a "smash and grab.” Well, this guy's wanted for a "shop and rob,” because unlike a lot of crooks he didn't run in, dressed in black and waving his gun around. Instead, he calmly shopped first like any other customer before robbing the clerk.

It happened last week in Shoreline and now, King County detectives want you to watch the video below, in hopes you know his name.

“This guy comes in the store. It's at the Chevron in Shoreline near 15th NE and Ballinger Way,” says King County Sgt. Cindi West. “He walks in very calmly. Nobody else is in the store other than the clerk. Goes to the back, picks out an item to drink, grabs a bag of chips and then another soda off the counter. Calmly walks up to the front counter, pulls out his wallet and it looks like he actually places money on the counter. Once the clerk gets the drawer open for the cash register, now he lifts up his shirt, pulls out a handgun and basically tells her it's a robbery. He didn't get a whole lot of money, but his is a felony crime, dangerous felony crime and we want to get him off the streets. This guy is either a pro and has done it before, or something's up, because he's relatively calm through this whole process of going into the store, picking up the items and then committing the robbery."

He's so calm he even seems to give the clerk a little wave goodbye before bolting from the store with both the cash, the drinks and chips in a brown paper bag.

Other than wearing sunglasses inside the store, he was dressed normally, wearing a bright green shirt and white hat.
