Seattle Weather: Picture-perfect weekend wraps up ahead sunny, hot temps next week

Air quality remains strong against wildfire smoke thanks to wind direction in Western Washington. While morning clouds can be expected in Puget Sound, skies will clear up and warm sun will stick around all week.

HEADLINES (FOX 13 Seattle)

High temperatures today were a few degrees warmer compared to Saturday, topping out several degrees above seasonal average. 

TODAY HIGH TEMP (FOX 13 Seattle)

Tonight, skies will remain mainly clear around the Puget Sound area, increasing clouds along the coast. Cooler temperatures with clear skies overnight, upper to mid 50s. 

Regional Overnight Lows  (FOX 13 Seattle)

A few clouds will move inland around Puget Sound, but they will be relatively light. Clouds will clear by mid-morning back to the coast. 

FUTURECAST 7am (FOX 13 Seattle)

Highs will be a few degrees cooler on Monday due to the morning clouds, but we will still warm up into the low 80s.

Regional Highs Tomorrow (FOX 13 Seattle)

Fire risk will be low for Western Washington to start the week with moderate to elevated risk east of the Cascades. Fire concerns will increase through the week as temperatures warm up and fuel dries out from any recent rainfall. 

FIRE DANGER REGIONAL (FOX 13 Seattle)

Another onshore push for Tuesday morning, bringing a few more clouds through midday. Skies will be slower to clear compared to Monday, cooling temperatures a few degrees. Highs will bounce back starting Wednesday with mostly sunny skies through the weekend. Highs will get warm at the end of the week through the weekend, looking at another heatwave for Western Washington.
