WOODINVILLE, Wash. - A murder-suicide investigation is underway after two people were found dead inside a home in Woodinville on Wednesday.
What we know:
According to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office (SCSO), deputies responded to a residence on 102nd Avenue Southeast. Upon arrival, they found a 62-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman dead inside the home.
Authorities said no one else was present in the residence.
What they're saying:
The SCSO says they are investigating this incident as a murder-suicide.
"Detectives do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public," the SCSO wrote in a statement.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office will identify the cause and manner of death at a later date.
