Doctors can no longer detect Ebola virus in Texas nurse Amber Vinson, family says

ATLANTA (CNN) -- Doctors say Texas nurse Amber Vinson, who is being treated for Ebola at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, can no longer detect the virus in her body, her family said Wednesday.

Vinson, who cared for the hospitalized patient in Dallas who died from the virus, was diagnosed with Ebola after she took a trip to Ohio and returned to Dallas.

Vinson's mother, Debra Berry, said her daughter is steadily regaining her strength and her spirits are high. Doctors said she will be transferred from isolation, and her family is "ecstatic," Berry said.
