Everett firefighters respond to potentially intoxicated man in water

EVERETT, Wash. - On Thursday afternoon, Everett firefighters responded to a report of a man swimming in the water near Jetty Island. 

A boat crew arrived on the scene to investigate, along with a team of medics. However, all response units withdrew after the man was seen back on land and walking away safely.

According to Everett Fire, the man may have been intoxicated.
