Both directions of I-90 at Snoqualmie Pass have reopened after several cars crashed and semis became stuck in the wintry conditions.

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) said several collisions, stretching from just west of the summit all the way to Easton, forced them to close the freeway Wednesday afternoon. Several semis got stuck on the ascent to the summit, as well.

At 6:40 p.m., WSDOT announced eastbound I-90 had reopened west of the summit. Westbound I-90 reopened at 8:15 p.m.

All lanes are now back open, but drivers are asked to use caution during severe weather conditions.
