Man injured in West Seattle shooting
SEATTLE - A man was injured early Wednesday morning after a shooting in West Seattle.
According to police, the man was shot near 8th Avenue Southwest and Southwest Cloverdale Street during an altercation at about 2 a.m.
Police said the victim got into his car, saw the suspects drive past him and opened fire. He was shot him in the leg.
Investigators said a friend drove the victim to the VA hospital in South Seattle and officials told FOX 13 News that medics took the man, who was about 19 years old, to Harborview Medical Center. He was stable as of Wednesday morning.
Police are investigating what led up to the shooting.
