NASA seeking summer college interns - how to apply for an out-of-this-world work experience

NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement (OSTEM) paid internship program allows college students to work with NASA employees on the agency’s mission to advance science, technology, aeronautics, and space exploration.

The OSTEM internships, full-time or part-time, offer college students the opportunity to gain practical work experience while working side-by-side with research scientists, engineers, and individuals from many other professions at a NASA center or facility.

2026 NASA Internship Application Deadlines:
Summer 2026: Feb. 27, 2026, 11:59 p.m. ET
Fall 2026: May 22, 2026, 11:59 p.m. ET
