2 teens shot in Seattle's South Park neighborhood

Two teens were hospitalized on Tuesday morning after a drive-by shooting in Seattle's South Park neighborhood. 

The shooting happened at about 6:15 a.m. at 12th Avenue South and South Donovan Street.

According to Seattle police, two teens were walking south of Donovan Street with a young adult female when shots were fired from a passing car. 

The suspects drove away from the scene.

What we know:

According to the Seattle Fire Department, the two victims are 17-year-old boys.

Officers provided medical aid to the victims before medics arrived. Both had gunshot wounds to their legs and taken to Harborview Medical Center. 

The other person who was walking with the victims was not hurt.

The circumstances that led up to the shooting are still under investigation. 

Seattle police have not located the suspects and have not released a description of them.
