'It always feels violating': Owner says White Center music venue suffers second burglary in 6 months
WHITE CENTER, Wash. - The owner of a live music venue says he is out thousands of dollars after thieves broke into his business early Monday morning.
"They were in and out in like 45 seconds," said Mason Reed, owner of Tim's Tavern in White Center.
Reed said a group of masked burglars are seen on surveillance video around 5:30 a.m., breaking through the venue's back door and stealing a safe containing cash.

"Money that was brought in for the bands at the door from the weekend," said Reed. "They're just stealing from artists and creatives that don't make a lot of money to begin with."
Reed says he plans to pay the bands out of pocket, along with the damages left behind, which he estimates to be between $5,000-$6,000.
"In the big picture, it's such a small amount of money to cause all that damage and that much risk for themselves," said Reed.
Reed says this is the second time his business has been broken into in the past six months, making it trickier to navigate insurance.
"We're already a struggling music venue, breaking even just trying to put on shows," said Reed. "It's just another blow."
The King County Sheriff's Office says no one has been arrested and there aren't any solid descriptions of the suspects to share but anyone with more information on this incident can reach out to them via the non-emergency line (206) 296-3311.
