Boeing doesn't expect US trade war with China to slow its recovery

Boeing's CEO said the company had three airliners in China ready for delivery but brought two of them back to Seattle so far because the Chinese airlines that ordered the planes "stop taking delivery of aircraft due to the the tariff environment."

Over the weekend, a Boeing 737 Max reportedly returned to King County International Airport instead of reaching its intended destination with China’s Xiamen Airlines. The aircraft already crossed the Pacific, according to media reports, before being redirected to Boeing Field in Seattle.
