A 60-year-old man who was crossing Pacific Highway in Federal Way was struck by two vehicles and killed Sunday, police said.

"They chased a Black man in pursuit for over 10 miles," court documents state. "When they caught him they began beating him, yelling racial epithets as they did so ... They stripped him of his wallet and his shoes and left him on the side of the road in a puddle of blood. When questioned about it, (the) defendant proudly proclaimed he did these crimes because the victim was a Black man."
Puppies of Federal Way couple safely returned weeks after being stolen
Puppies Koba and KoKo have been safely returned to their owners after they were stolen nearly two weeks ago. The couple updated Q13 on Monday saying the puppies were spotted by a woman driving through Seahurst Park, noticed the stolen dogs, paid for them and returned them to their owners.
