Seattle weather: Soaking rain with stray thunderstorms

After experiencing warm sunshine and highs in the low 70s on Saturday, Seattle is returning to its typical programming this time of year. Times of soaking rain with isolated thunderstorms will develop in western Washington Monday into Tuesday.

Two more teenagers have been arrested for the killing of an 18-year-old in Tacoma's Hilltop neighborhood. The violence happened on the night of February 22nd. Messiah Washington was shot and killed inside a Tacoma Housing Authority apartment building on South L Street in Tacoma. On March 5, a 15 year old was arrested for that shooting. Then, a month later, a judge put out arrest warrants for three more teenagers.

From students to grandparents and everyone in between, thousands gathered in all 50 states to protest against President Donald Trump and Elon Musk on Saturday. In Washington, rallies took place across the Puget Sound. Their message: Hands Off! “Hands off our education, hands off our health care and hands off our democracy,” one of the speakers said. At Seattle center, a sea of people stood strong in their convictions while chanting. Organizers told FOX 13, more than seven thousand people pre-registered to attend Saturday’s rally. “Who saves us, we save us,” the crowd chanted.

Seattle weather: June-like weather this weekend

Saturday's highs will be like those we typically experience in early June! Highs will soar into the upper 60s for many in Central and South Puget Sound. Some communities in eastern King and Pierce Counties could see highs in the low 70s.
