Caught on Camera: Bold liquor thief pulls knife on store worker

liquorWANTED IN SEATTLE -- Take a look at some surveillance video to see if you recognize a liquor thief who pulled a knife on employees. He’s the guy in the green shirt, and Seattle detectives need to know what this guy's name is. He stuffed some bottles in a backpack in the Safeway on E. Madison St. in Seattle, and then headed for the exit. When a worker confronted him, cops say he flashed a silver knife and threatened to cut her. He headed out the door and two employees followed after him. They told detectives they recognized from previous thefts and shoplifting. "The suspect in this case is considered to be a suspect in several cases similar to this,” says Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “What disturbs us, is that every case gets more and more violent."
