SEATTLE - Three people are in custody after allegedly shooting at police officers in Seattle's South Beacon Hill neighborhood early Wednesday afternoon.
What we know:
It happened around 6 p.m. at South Cloverdale Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way South.
Seattle police said officers were on an undercover mission when they spotted a black Dodge Challenger, a vehicle believed to be associated with one of the suspects.
When officers began tailing the Challenger, police say the suspects opened fire at their vehicle.
Police then began a pursuit, which ended near 51st Avenue South and South Ryan Street after the suspects crashed into another car.
The suspects bailed from their vehicle and attempted to run away, police said. One tried to carjack another vehicle but was quickly halted.
