AMBER Alert canceled for missing 1-year-old from Wenatchee, WA
WENATCHEE, Wash. - An AMBER Alert issued by the Washington State Patrol on behalf of the Wenatchee Police Department for a missing 1-year-old boy with critical medical needs has been canceled on Monday afternoon.
Authorities say a 1-year-old boy was abducted by 41-year-old Stephanie Gifford. Investigators believe Gifford may have traveled south toward the Portland, Oregon, metropolitan area.

Police emphasized that the child requires specialized medical care for significant health needs.
Gifford is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 225 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Investigators say Gifford was last contacted by phone on Aug. 21, 2026. She was believed to be traveling in a dark gray 2006 Acura TSX bearing Washington license plate BYJ5752.
Before 2:30 p.m. Monday, the alert was canceled.
