Everett, WA fire leaves man hospitalized, 2 cats dead
EVERETT, Wash. - A man was taken to the hospital after a fire at an Everett apartment.
On Thursday morning, the Everett Fire Department said crews responded to a fire at Park 120 Apartments at 120 West Casino Road.
Crews used a ladder to rescue a man and his dog from the second story.
Medics evaluated the man for smoke inhalation at the scene, and he was later taken to the hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
According to the Evrett Fire Department, two cats died and another was reported missing after the fire.
The cause of the fire is not known and remains under investigation.
