Auburn, WA crews respond to garbage fire on Lea Hill
AUBURN, Wash. - Crews extinguished a large garbage fire in Auburn’s Lea Hill neighborhood on Wednesday morning.
What we know:
Valley Region Fire (VRF) made the initial announcement on social media at around 9:37 a.m., saying crews were responding to the fire near the corner of 188th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 296th Place.

According to VRF, the fire started inside a garbage truck, and the driver quickly dumped the garbage onto the street to prevent the flames from spreading to the vehicle.
No injuries were reported.

What we don't know:
The cause of the fire is unknown.
