SEATTLE -- A High Wind Warning was posted for all of Western Washington Sunday night.

Gusts of 45 to 60 mph were predicted from 8 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday. Officials warned that the high wind could take down trees, as most still have their leaves that could act as sails.

More record rainfall was expected through Monday morning making, making September one of the wettest on record, with five times the normal monthly September rainfall predicted. In fact, Saturday was the wettest September day ever.

Monday is expected to be less stormy but with some isolated thunderstorms. Sunbreaks could break through. Tuesday and Wednesday should calm down as the weather returns back to normal.
