Seahawks honor Marysville-Pilchuck High School; Gov. Inslee declares Monday 'Red and White Day'

SEATTLE -- The state of Washington is honoring everyone affected by the tragedy last month at Marysville-Pilchuck High School.

On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks wore "MP" decals on their helmets in the game against the Oakland Raiders at CenturyLink Field.

Inactive players, coaches and staff wore "MP" lapel pins.

The team also planned a moment of silence prior to the national anthem.

Governor Jay Inslee declared Monday, November 3rd "Red and White Day" in the state of Washington.

He urged everyone to wear red and white to show their support for the Marysville and Tulalip communities as students return to school.
