Seattle City Light investigating cause of 4 outages Thursday

SCL investigates multiple outages affecting more than 14,000 customers on Thursday, May 5 at1:40 p.m. (Seattle City Light)

Seattle City Lights (SCL) is investigating four separate power outages that impacted 14,816 customers Thursday afternoon. 

According to SCL, crews have fixed the majority of the outages, and it has been determined that one of the major power outages was caused by a fallen down tree. The main areas affected by the outages are in West Seattle and the Georgetown neighborhood. 

All three of outages are currently being investigated.
