Suspect arrested in Everett teen stabbing

Everett police have arrested a man suspected of stabbing a teen as he was walking to school earlier this month.

The suspect, identified as 21-year-old Andrew Freeman, was arrested on Wednesday at around 4 p.m.

Police said a community member called 911, notifying them of Freeman's whereabouts.

Freeman is accused of stabbing a 13-year-old boy on Jan. 16 near Broadway and 25th Street. The teen was taken to the hospital after arriving at North Middle School with stab wounds.
