(WTKR) -- Marine Corps Capt. William Mahoney worried how he would land when the nose landing gear on his AV-8B Harrier malfunctioned after he took off from the Norfolk-based USS Bataan.
Fortunately for him the Bataan carries a special padded stool for just such an emergency.
Mahoney says he never actually saw the stool during the landing.
