SEATTLE -- Most of us worry about the cold and flu season this time of year.

When in reality, there's another health hazard that spikes in the winter months that can be deadly -- heart attacks and strokes.

While you may think this would mostly affect people in frigid climates, the truth is people in the warmest parts of the United States are also at risk.
