Erin Mayovsky
Erin Mayovsky co-anchors Good Day Seattle weekdays 7-11 a.m. alongside Bill Wixey.
Erin was born and raised in the Seattle area. She loves the beautiful Northwest, with its ragged peaked mountains, blue and green waters, and clean, crisp air. Erin forecasted the weather here for more than two decades and loved the challenge of getting it right in spite of our defiant, ever-changing, crazy weather. Erin has hosted several entertainment, sports and information programs and she has reported and anchored the news. When the opportunity to co-host Good Day Seattle came up, she jumped at it. It allowed her to combine her years of broadcasting and love of the Northwest to give viewers a unique window into our region and its issues. Erin does more than work. She grew up playing soccer and continues to play. Her high school teams were state champions, which led her straight to the intercollegiate women’s soccer program at the University of Washington. Go DAWGS!
Her other favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband and children and their dog Loki. Her kids play baseball, basketball, and soccer and that keeps them and Erin busy. As if she wasn’t busy enough, Erin and her husband also love buying older Seattle homes and refurbishing them so they can be enjoyed be new families for years to come.
Erin hopes to see you around town and don’t forget to stay connected! Send her your comments or ideas.
