After a damp Friday, the last weekend of August will be spectacular!

We're getting a few light showers on the morning commute.  We'll clear out and see a little sun this afternoon and top out below normal, but still comfortable.  Normal high for this time of the year is 76.  Highs today will be in the upper 60s to around 70 today.

Spotty Showers Tonight

We officially topped out at 71 degrees this afternoon. The majority of the day was spent in the upper 60s because of the cloud cover and spotty sprinkles. Tonight, will be our best shot for showers and accumulation. Most of this activity will be light in nature but we'll have some isolated spots of heavier downpours.

A few showers and cooler-than-normal

A weak front is passing through.  The main effects of this are cloudy skies, a few showers, and cooler-than-normal temps.  We'll be topping out in the upper 60s to around 70 today.  Normal for this time of year is now 76 degrees.

Sunshine with a bit of haze

Today and tomorrow will be perfect August days with abundant sunshine and highs around normal – upper 70s.  Except for one thing – the potential for smoke from Eastern Washington wildfires causing the skies to be hazy.  There is a light wind from the east that is pushing the smoke over the Cascades this morning.  So far, air quality is good (green dots) across the state.  Hopefully whatever smoke wafts over the Cascades will stay aloft and air quality will stay good.
