Travon Kelly: Missing child rapist has long history of grooming; preying on young girls

travonWANTED BY DOC IN SNOHOMISH COUNTY -- Convicted child rapist, Travon Kelly, is a level three sex offender -- the highest risk to re-offend -- and he's missing in Snohomish County, where he isn't checking in with the Department of Corrections like he's supposed to.

He’s been a danger to children for years -- with a long history of sexually assaulting several girls, some as young as seven, others in their teens that he groomed. This high-risk predator started young -- at one point even telling officers he committed these crimes because of his “desperate need” to have sex. "Kelly's deviant behavior started when he was 16 years old,” says DOC Ofc. Emily Isaacs. “He likes to target young females. He befriends them, what we like to call grooming. He spends time with them. Gets them to the point where they trust him. It's only then when he breaks that trust and violates them. He's been on warrant for quite some time. We really need your help finding him. We don't want this child predator out on the loose any longer Kelly's also been busted for lighting his cousin's ear on fire, and several more crimes. He's 25, 6’1”, 215 lbs., and has tats on his arms and left wrist.
