Seattle weather: Freezing nights continue this week
SEATTLE - Cold air continues to settle into western Washington, keeping overnight lows below freezing. A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect to our south, stretching from about Kelso to the Washington/Oregon border.
With the freezing temperatures Tuesday night, be sure your plants, pipes, pets and people are prepared.

A weak disturbance passing by will increase high clouds during the day on Wednesday, but it will still be dry. A round of fog will develop mainly south of Seattle on Wednesday night and Thursday.
The ridge of high pressure will push out west slightly, allowing a disturbance bringing a slight chance of showers on Thursday night and Friday.

This January is shaping up to be one of the driest on record with only a little over an inch of rain recorded so far. Rainfall chances are looking slim for the remainder of the month.

The week remains largely dry and cool with only a slight chance for showers from Thursday into Friday. Sunnier skies will return by the weekend with freezing nights ahead this week.
