Seattle weather in mid-January: Any rain on the horizon?
SEATTLE - We’re tracking an extended period of dry and quiet weather in Seattle.
We don’t have any rain in the forecast — until possibly the weekend of January 25–26. While these dry spells aren’t unheard of in our region in the wintertime, this is usually our wet and rainy season.

After tracking pockets of freezing fog and frost this morning, we’re forecasting mostly cloudy skies and dry weather this afternoon.
Dry conditions but icy roads
Over Stevens and Blewett Passes, roads will be frosty and icy today. Roads will likely be bare and wet along Snoqualmie Pass. Temperatures in Central Washington remain chilly!

We’ll have very similar weather tomorrow. The morning will feature fog, freezing fog and slick spots on bridges and overpasses. The afternoon will offer mainly cloudy skies.

Sunny and dry week ahead
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday could also begin rather murky and gray. Freezing fog will remain a possibility. The afternoons will be sunny.
