1 dead in crash involving construction equipment on I-5 in Lacey

LACEY,Wash. - A one vehicle collision with construction equipment on I-5 turned deadly Friday morning.

 Washington State Patrol responded to a report of a collision on southbound I-5 in Lacey near Carpenter Road at about 4:50 a.m.

As a result of the crash, the road has been reduced to one lane while crews work at the scene. Troopers are continuing their investigation into the cause of the collision.
