Domestic violence call leads to homicide investigation in Edmonds, WA

One man is dead and another arrested after a 911 call out of Edmonds over the weekend ended in a death investigation. 

A 47-year-old man was arrested for manslaughter after police report finding his 37-year-old husband dead when they arrived on scene at 238th Street SW.

The suspect called 911 saying his husband was experiencing a violent mental health crisis and breaking property. He reportedly told police he used a neck restraint to calm him down earlier in the night, and again hours later when the situation escalated. 

After talking with the man, and investigating the scene, officers booked him into Snohomish County Jail on first degree manslaughter charges.
