LONDON -- A parked Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 787 Dreamliner jet caught fire Friday at London's crowded Heathrow Airport, temporarily closing down all runways.

Arrivals and departures were suspended for the airport at 16:30 BST, the BBC reported. No injuries were reported in the fire and the airplane was parked in a remote spot. Runways reopened at 18:00 BST

Fire crews worked to put out the flames, which started as part of an on-board internal fire. The exact cause of the fire was unexplained, the BBC reported.

More than 50 Boeing Dreamliners were grounded by the FAA in January due to battery malfunctions.
