Mix-up sends child to wrong after-school club
SEATTLE – A mix-up at Bagley Elementary School ended up sending a 5-year-old boy to an after school program that he wasn’t supposed to attend.
Last Thursday, the child was sent to the wrong Boys and Girls Club in North Seattle. The problem was, the after school program his parents signed him up to attend is actually inside his own school, and the child should never have been put on a bus in the first place.
Seattle Public Schools said an assistant at Bagley Elementary is to blame for the mistake.
