SEATTLE - Authorities are investigating a shooting involving a police officer in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood late Thursday afternoon.

The shooting occurred near the intersection of NW 62nd St and 28th Ave NW, and the Seattle Police Department confirmed it involved an officer.
