Slide blocks parts of SR 7 near La Grande

Parts of State Route 7 near La Grande is blocked in both directions after a slide Monday morning.

EATONVILLE, Wash. - Parts of State Route 7 near Eatonville were closed Monday morning due to a slide.

The slide happened near Pilgrim Road East in at about 1:30 a.m.

Engineering geologists were at the scene to evaluate the slide and determine the next steps.

Debris was cleared around 3 p.m.
