Think you won free airline tickets? BBB says think again
DUPONT -- If you think you've qualified for two free roundtrip airline tickets, the Better Business Bureau says "think again."
The BBB is investigating an unnamed company that reportedly mailed hand-addressed letters to thousands of Washingtonians with invitations to an open house at an Anchorage hotel, a press release stated. A BBB undercover investigator attended the open house and after sitting though the sales presentation, the agent was offered a "Platinum Membership" in a lifetime vacation club for $8,995. The agent could not receive the free airline ticket voucher without deciding to join the vacation club.
